Installation Instructions

macOS (Apple Silicon)

  1. Download the .tar.gz file
  2. Double-click to extract the app
  3. Drag Nebula Writer to your Applications folder
  4. Right-click and select "Open" on first launch (Gatekeeper)
  5. Optional: Install Tectonic CLI for LaTeX support

Windows

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. Run the installer
  3. If prompted, allow the unsigned app to run
  4. Launch Nebula Writer from the Start Menu
