Yes. The Free plan lets you try the local editor and included AI allowance without a credit card. Any current Pro trial or promotion will be shown in Stripe Checkout before you confirm; otherwise billing begins when you subscribe.
GPT-5.6 Luna is the default model for Free accounts. Pro accounts keep Luna and can also choose from all other enabled managed models in the model picker, including Claude, Gemini, Kimi, and GLM options where available.
Free users can accept and view read-only shared cloud docs. Creating cloud folders, writing shared documents, inviting collaborators, editor sessions, sync, snapshots, binary saves, and owned cloud storage require Pro.
Your writing stays on your device by default. AI features only send the selected context needed for the request, Python work runs in the local runtime, and we never train AI models on your content.
